Captain Marvel is released Wednesday at the cinema. Finally ! It took more than ten years and twice as many movies for Marvel Studios to devote a feature film to a superheroine. Iron Man, Thor or Captain America , they already have two or three films. Only Hope van Dyne, aka The Wasp, managed to squat the title and poster of the Ant-Man sequel , but neither Black Widow, Scarlet Witch or Gamora were allowed to own their own movie. Captain Marvel is the first, and comes after Wonder Woman , the super-heroine of DC Comics … and the box office.

Captain Marvel existed in comics, but she had never been seen in Marvel’s films. She still had the imagination of the fans in the movie Infinity War where Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), in trouble, called for the rescue.

The question everybody had then: since he had the number of the most powerful superhero in the universe, why did not he call him before? Among other things, this film focuses on the character of Brie Larson. But above all, the spectators will discover who she is, her past, her character, her powers.

This is an important feature to see for Marvel fans, as we already know it will be the next Avengers movie, Endgame , highly anticipated and coming up in April.
